We are currently partnering with a Multi-National mining organisation synonymous with coal and with interests across the global. They are expanding their business development and coal sourcing operations in Indonesia to servea rapidly growing Asia Pacific markets through its office in Jakarta. In line with this growth they are looking to recruit commercial professionals in the following positions: Sourcing Manager / Assistant Manager You will be proactive and have a well developed network within the Indonesian coal mining industry. The purpose of the role is to creatively source, establish & maintain good business relationships with key coal suppliers and producers in order to procure coal to meet company’s objectives. As part of the role, you will generate and communicate internally, updated market information on the status of production, schedules, prices, technical issues and other factors affecting the coal industry. Work with suppliers to resolve technical, commercial and logistical issues. Quality review supplier’s mines, stock piles and logistical operations. Logistics Specialist This position is suited to someone with a strong track record in the coal mining industry in Indonesia in the area of logistics management. You will be able to develop creative strategies for timely and cost-efficient transportation of product with a particular emphasis on barge/river transportation and also overland and shipping. This will require a strong network within the industry and the ability to work closely with internal Sourcing Managers and develop strong relationships with suppliers and 3rd party suppliers / contractors.
