Position requirements
A university degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent is a prerequisite. You should have at least 5 years in Oil & Gas industry and 5 years in Drilling Engineering. Experience interfacing with Authorities’ representatives and Partners is desirable. You are required to be skillful in standard software such as office suite and having practical experience in deepwater drilling activities, advance drilling and directional drilling.
You must be a good communicator with highly effective multi-disciplinary team working skills and demonstrate experience coaching and leading less experienced Drilling Engineers. Good technical and analytical skills, strong influencing and presentation skills as well as effective communication and performance bias are a plus. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is a must.
Position responsibilities
Your role will involve developing well design, drafting drilling plan and supporting its execution, overall technical integrity of well design and execution plan, cost effectiveness of well design and drilling program, planning and engineering drilling operations, proposing drilling programs, preparing estimated cost breakdown of wells, operations follow up, tracking and benchmarking drilling performance and cost, preparing post well reports, assisting in the preparation and evaluation of tender, carrying out special studies and reports, assisting rigsite operations and providing digital data and critically study these data.
