To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:
This position will be based at Martabe site working on schedule 4 weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to the Engineer- Short Term Planning.
The role of Junior Engineer Short Term Planning is :
• Ensure operation of contractor follow PTAR Operational plan and standard of Safety, Health, Environmental and Community
• Ensure compliance of Kepmen 555.K/26/M.PE/1995 regarding General Mining Occupational Safety And Health and related Regulations during contractor operational activity
• Assist superior in short term planning to ensure pit operations can be carried out to deliver ore at the required tonnes and grades to the process plant, as well as waste required for TSF construction
• Monitor and manage the mining contractor as per mining contract, effective use of plant and equipment, and achievement of targets
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience :
1. Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering. Preferably POP certified.
2. Knowledge and practical experience of related mining software, preferably Surpac
3. Well and rounded knowledge of mining operations preferably open pit hard rock mines, familiarity with drilling & blasting and projects works will be an advantage
4. Knowledge of production tracking and reporting
5. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas.
6. Competence in speaking, reading and writing English.
7. Reasonable level of problem solving, hands on approach, able to motivate and lead sub-ordinate.
8. High level of computer literacy skills in Ms. Word, Excel, Power Point
9. High commitment to PTAR standards in environment, safety, business ethic and good corporate governance
10. Good interpersonal and communication skills
This position will be based at Martabe site working on schedule 4 weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to the Lead Contracts Administrator.
The role of Senior Contract Administrator is :
• Conduct contract development, contract monitoring, contract administration and compliance.
• Prequalification of suppliers, fabricators and installation Contractors, inclusive of all tender document preparation,
• Commercial evaluation of tenders & preparation of evaluation summaries,
• Administer technical and commercial Tender clarifications,
• Recommendations for award, awarding and conforming of contracts,
• Administration of contract through to practical completion and closeout.
• Preparation of Procurement Plan and scoping, sourcing, and ordering project related equipment and materials.
• Ensure a consistent, integrated and reliable approach is applied to contacts and procurement processes.
• Delivering accurate and insightful reporting.
• Liaison with suppliers of goods and equipment and construction contractors in relation to projects.
• Setting up systems to record all interactions, variations, reporting, cost control, contract assembly and administration.
• Conduct processing and finalising Contractor claims and variations
• Alert project management of potential project variations
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience :
1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business, Law, Engineering or Equivalent
2. 12 years or more Contracts Administration experience in mining, mineral processing or heavy industry
3. Excellent communication, leadership and influencing, negotiation skills
4. Strong negotiation and analytical skills
5. Proficient in the use of Pronto
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Strong planning preparation and execution skills
8. Ability to produce consistently high quality work within expected time frames.

This position will be based at Martabe site working on schedule 4 weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to the Lead Project Controls Engineer.
The role of Senior Project Control Engineer is :
• Ensure a consistent, integrated and reliable approach is applied to scheduling, planning, forecasting and cost control across all Projects.
• Supporting Project Management in all issues related to planning, progress, quantity survey and cost control
• Delivering accurate and insightful reporting and forecasting.
• Maintain project execution schedule and develop progress, earned value and critical path reports.
• Liaison with suppliers of goods and equipment and construction contractors in relation to Projects.
• Setting up systems to record all interactions, variations, reporting, cost control and administration.
• Lead processing and finalising Contractor claims and variations.
• Alert project management of potential project variations.
• Maintain all required records for audit purposes.
• Track project schedules and finances to ensure projects remain on time and budget
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience :
1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business, Law, Engineering or Equivalent
2. 12 years or more Project Controls experience in mining, mineral processing or heavy industry.
3. Excellent communication, leadership and influencing, negotiation skills
