Black Platinum Energy Ltd is an Oil & Gas exploration company which currently has 6 PSCs (2 as operated). We are immediately seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to fill a position of:

Geographic Information System Coordinator (GIS Coordinator)

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Producing PSCs Location Maps, Montages, Geological and Geophysical Maps, Logistic Maps as required in presentations and reports
- Providing senior management with exhibits for budget & board presentations
- Maintaining Database for Wells, 2D Seismic Lines and also 3D Seismic Grids and G&G Reports
- G&G Data Processing and Interoperability between ArcGIS/MapInfo and petroleum exploration software (SMT Kingdom, Petrosys, Hampson-Russell and GS Software)
- Assisting and supporting logistic team, driiling team, geologists and geophysicists in G&G Studies, Seismic Survey Design/Planning and Well Planning & Drilling
- Compiling geographic data from a variety of sources (e.g. field observation, scanned old maps, old wells location)
- Maintaining the GIS Database in line with company business objectives
