Application Support Specialist
Responsibility:
• To maintain all software licenses and installation
• Troubleshooting and user assistance
• Database Installation, maintenance, customize and upgrade, migration
• System/Project Backup and restore
• Seismic/Well Data Loading, QC, Management in Kingdom/Petrel
• Able to Export/Import and Conversion for Well/Seismic interpretation
Technical Competency:
• Understand the concept of database Construction
• Experience in loading seismic and/or well data to E & P applications
• Thorough understanding of Geosciences data types
• Familiarity with various recording media types and storing and transcription
• Understand Cartographic reference System and coordinate transformation
• Understand data taxonomy, categorizing, and apply standard naming convention
Personal Qualification:
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A degree in geology or related earth sciences preferred
• Specific application experience in Geoframe/ Petrel/SMT Kingdom knowledge is desirable
