Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 2012, produces greater than 250,000oz gold and 2M oz silver per annum.

To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

MECHANICAL TRAINING SUPERVISOR (PRO 1602011)

This position will be based at Martabe site working on schedule 4 weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to the Mechanical Superintendent.
The role of Mechanical Training Supervisor is required for mechanical training of the Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters on procedures to develop the skills of the PTAR tradesman in the Process Plant. This role will focus on training in rework tasks performed by the tradesman. A register and risk matrix will be done and assessment and competency based report can be run. This role is critical for the development of the tradesman.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience : 

1. The ability to teach and train tradesman using practical and theory based training methods
2. Thorough knowledge of training and assessment systems
3. Develop mechanical training packages and competency systems for development of skills in mechanical department. 
4. Utilise existing SOP’s, OEM packages to further develop the mechanical tradesman skills through training packages
5. A high level of competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Internet
6. Ability to read and understand manuals, PID’s and maintenance procedures. The ability to explain information in these documents to tradesman. 
7. A high level of verbal and written English
8. A sound awareness of operational safety issues and an excellent personal safety record
9. A thorough understanding of routine maintenance requirement of the Processing Plant. 
10. Ability to understand and efficiently carry out written and oral instructions
